Looking back on my own journey of learning to manage mind-body-spirit energy, I came to understand that if you don’t have sustainable energy daily, then you can’t achieve wellness. Only when the energy levels are in harmony, can good health, and a freedom of the mind begins.

ONE LEG LIFTS POSE- BALANCE YOUR BODY, STRENGTHEN THE LOWER BODY

 

To be able to perform healthy and durable sports, systems and muscle groups must be closely coordinated to withstand the same intensity of exercise. However, sometimes even those who regularly practice sports make the mistake of only training certain muscle groups. Over time, the misalignment of the muscular system will make the body imbalanced, leading to more serious bone and joint diseases later on!

 

So you need to have the plan to rebuild the balance of the body, help strengthen the muscle groups, and build a balanced physique for the body to develop more comprehensively and evenly! Understanding that problem, Drinkizz would like to introduce to you a movement to help balance the body and strengthen muscles with the One Leg Lifts exercise!

 

One Leg Lifts is an easy pose to perform but is an extremely effective support exercise in body balance training when using strength from the core, posture, and quadriceps when lifting the legs. 

To do the pose properly without causing discomfort in the lower extremities, follow these steps:

  • Stand with feet hip-width apart
  • Shift your weight onto your left foot and lift your right foot a few inches off the ground
  • Keep your eyes straight as you repeatedly lift your right leg up and down
  • Switch to the other leg and do the same

Benefit:

  • Balance and correct posture: The love movement requires flexibility and balance when performing the pose. Continually aligning the body is essential to eliminating other potential injuries during more difficult exercises. Doing this pose for a long time will help keep both sides of the body even and equally healthy
  • Strengthens the muscles: With one leg raised and the other centered on your body, this move strengthens the calf muscles and tendons that are attached to the ankle, helping to improve strength and elasticity. of the upper muscle groups
  • Awaken your focus: Like all other balance poses, the movement also requires a greater awareness of concentration. When focusing on 1 point in front of you when performing the movement, helps to promote balance and increase concentration
