Currently, Vietnamese people’s health is greatly affected by the overconsumption of unsafe food, chemicals in drinks, and environmental pollution, etc. At the same time, the busy pace of life and work makes people lose their energy easily, thereby losing stability in relationships and personal life. 

Especially young adults from 25-35 years old – the main labor force of Vietnam, aren’t yet able to follow the lifestyle like the rest of the world; Health & Wellness.   

Looking back on my own journey of learning to manage mind-body-spirit energy, I came to understand that if you don’t have sustainable energy daily, then you can’t achieve wellness. Only when the energy levels are in harmony, can good health, and a freedom of the mind begins.

PLANK EXERCISES – REDUCE BELLY FAT, IMPROVING CORE STRENGTH

 

Owning a toned body with a slim waist without excess fat is the desire of many people. However, the majority of office workers can hardly do this, as their work has to sit in one place from morning to afternoon, making them have less time to exercise!

Then let Drinkizz introduce to you a movement that helps reduce belly fat extremely effective that is famous all over the world – The Plank exercise!

Plank not only has the effect of losing weight but also improving health. This exercise does not require too much space with basic movements, and no equipment is needed, so it can be done anywhere. Just need a moderate space and a flat surface, then you can practice. However, if you practice the wrong technique, it can also cause worrying health problems. Thus, let Drinkizz shows you how to to the Plank correctly!

 Instruction:

  • Similar to the dolphin exercise, we support the body with the wings keeping the forearm, wrist, and side of the hand straight, pressing down on the sieve, the upper arms are parallel to each other and perpendicular to the floor.
  • Back, buttocks, and legs in line with each other
  • Roll your butt down, pull your abs up to keep your waist straight
  • Press your hands into the floor and raise your chest as much as you can
  • Hold it for as long as possible

Benefit:

  • Toning muscles: If practiced correctly, Plank exercises will help increase muscles, especially the abdominal muscles, and core muscles develop better. Thereby increasing muscle endurance. Not only does it work on the abdomen, but the Plank exercise also helps burn excess fat in the hips, thighs, and biceps. Moreover, this exercise also helps strengthen bones and makes the body’s activities more efficient.
  • Correct posture: For office workers who often sit in the wrong position, they will often have problems with scoliosis and misalignment, or even worse, affect living and health. Practicing this movement will help you improve your posture for a healthier body and better shape
  • Enhance metabolism, and stabilize weight: For those of you who often have to work with computers, exercises help burn calories effectively to help control weight as desired.
  • Lower back pain: When doing Plank, the spine is in a neutral position, forcing the muscles in the middle of the body to squeeze to maintain stability. As a result, the correct Plank posture helps to ensure that the spine is aligned, contributing to reducing back pain
