Day 5: Reading nutrition facts & using the nutrition radar map

Hello friends,

Welcome back to our blog series on transforming your health and energy with Drinkizz! On Day 4, we discussed the importance of organic, natural, and sustainable energy in Drinkizz O.N.E. Today, Day 5, we will focus on how to read nutrition facts and effectively use the Nutrition Radar Map to make informed dietary choices.

Reading Labels:

Reading and understanding nutrition labels is crucial for making informed health choices. “It’s important to really understand how a good source of energy impacts your health, and really differentiate between the best type of energy for you” (p. 21). The Nutrition Radar Map shows the content of key nutrients like theine, antioxidants, and silica in each Drinkizz O.N.E can. This helps you make better choices for your health by understanding the benefits of each ingredient. “O.N.E Drink contains 35 mg of theine, which is the natural form of caffeine found in tea… ensures you’re alert without being jittery” (p. 22).

Nutrition Radar Map:

Drinkizz provides a Nutrition Radar Map that helps you visualize the nutritional content of our drink, ensuring you get balanced, sustainable energy. This map highlights key nutrients and their benefits, allowing you to make informed decisions about your diet. The Nutrition Radar Map also highlights other essential minerals like potassium and magnesium, which support various bodily functions. “O.N.E drink provides Potassium (100mg) which supports nerve functions and heart health; Magnesium (10mg) crucial for muscle function and psychological well-being” (p. 23).

Caloric Quality:

Understanding the nutritional content of what you consume can help you align your diet with your health and energy goals. Differentiating between empty calories and nutrient-dense foods is essential for maintaining long-lasting energy and overall well-being. “Empty calories are high-calorie foods that contain little to no nutrients” (p. 7), while nutrient-dense foods provide the body with essential nutrients and energy.
